This Sunday morning yin class will incorporate the spiky ball and foam roller to induce deep release of restricted areas within the body using the principles of myofascial release.

Yin Yoga works into the connective tissues of the body, with a focus on hip and spine mobility. The practice gives us time to slow down, connect with and explore the depths of the body and mind.

Yin lends itself very well to the practice of mindfulness and introspection so we can transform our practice into a moving meditation and reap the benefits of relaxation, sustained attentional balance and sharpness of mind, as well as cultivating a supple body in a state of ease.

The aim is to have you leave the class with more freedom, movement and release in your body, and a deeply relaxed and calm mind.

Suitable for complete beginners to experienced yoga practitioners.

A unique group practice in which we will lie down on our yoga mats and blankets and peripheral acupuncture needles will be placed on the body by TCM therapist Yuli followed by a guided meditation with Rob.

Acupuncture is one of the key components of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  It is an age-old healing practice, where fine filiform needles are inserted at specific points along the meridians for therapeutic purposes.

Acupuncture is incorporated to stimulate points that regulate the flow of Qi, promote relaxation, and calm the mind and body. The addition of acupuncture will lead your meditation experience to another level of blissfulness.

Furthermore, other commonly observed benefits may include better sleep, clearer mind, increased level of energy, reduced cravings/addictions, and improved general well-being.
