Jude

B. Science, FinY, Yoga Senior Teacher, CST/ MFR, CEBT

Jude has witnessed the physical, mental and emotional benefits yoga has brought to both herself and others. This inspires her to share yoga with others so they too can experience wellbeing, stillness, peace, open heart and wisdom. 

Jude has been teaching yoga since 2005, Buddhism since 2002 and also has a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement Studies and Environment with Honours. 

Jude has been teaching yin yoga since training with Victor Chng in 2011 and qualified as a Crainosacral and Myofascial Release therapist in 2017.  Jude completed a training as a Cultivating Emotional Balance teacher in 2017, which brings the scientific understanding of emotions together with contemplative practices.

Jude co-owns a yoga studio in Perth where the emphasis on the contemplative aspect of yoga is brought to every class.

Rob

B. Engineering, Byron Yoga, CEBT

Rob’s been yoga teaching since 2012, his practice being informed by the study of meditation and traditional taekwondo training he did growing up. His classes are influenced by that background, packaging traditional concepts into modern wrappings.

Rob completed training as a Cultivating Emotional Balance teacher in 2018, which brings the scientific understanding of emotions together with contemplative practices.

Rob co-owns a yoga studio in Perth where the emphasis on the contemplative aspect of yoga is brought to every class.

Rachel

Yoga restored my physical and inner strength while I worked in the corporate in Hong Kong. My passion for yoga encouraged me to leave the banking world and completed a Certificate IV in Yoga Teacher training in Byron Bay in 2014.

I started my teaching journey in Fiji, mainly for busy expats. After moving to Perth, I continue to focus on restoring people’s wellbeing, offering yoga for grownups and chair yoga for seniors.

Currently I am studying master of occupational therapy at Curtin University. My goal is to combine evidence based occupational therapy solutions and community based yoga to help people restore health and face practical aspects of life.

Clare

Clare Dawson has a background in teaching, counselling, coaching and writing with a passion for assisting others to build skills for personal growth.

Clare draws on this extensive background, combined with her training using many instruments, to create deeply relaxing sound bath experiences.

Celesta

Celesta

Celesta has completed 900hrs of yoga teacher training to date, including 350hrs with Yogaspace, and specialised in Chair Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga and Ashtanga yoga.  She is also completing her studies in a post graduate of yoga therapy.

Her personal practice centres around Ashtanga Yoga based on her study and practice with Saraswati, Shareth, Eileen Hall and training with David Swenson.

Her passions lies in supporting her class to a nurtured, mind and movement sequence guided by the student’s own breath. Practicing beyond the physical into a deep awareness to ones body, mind and breath.

She is also currently embarking a 12 months sound healing journey.

Additionally Celesta is a devout buddhist, an active member and volunteer at Hayagriva Buddhist centre and currently working on a project with her spiritual teacher on a meditation sanctuary in Bhutan – www.dhyanazhitshok.org

Ashton

Ashton Ryan is a yoga teacher with over 8 years of practice in Hatha, Bikram, and Vinyasa yoga disciplines. From an early age, Ashton was deeply invested in physical fitness – from running, hiking, gymnastics and everything in between. He endured trauma from years of running and contact sports and started yoga as a countermeasure 10 years ago. Within a matter of 2 years he experienced the logarithmic growth of physical well being through yoga. Finally, he decided to turned to yoga, meditation, and intention setting to heal and explore the full benefits of a yogic lifestyle.

His love of movement translates his practice and teaching style that is both strong and graceful, challenging and grounding. Over the years, his practice has become much more than just physical, taking on a more spiritual and esoteric role with meditation and other distinctly inward-focused practices. His classes are intended to combine ancient yoga teachings with modern sequences to create a beautiful blend of past and present. He believes that yoga is a powerful tool that can help us uncover our true nature and discover our divine place in the universe.

Colette

After practising Hatha for 3 years in Melbourne, Colette returned to yoga when she moved to Perth, finding it transformational for body, mind & breath. With more than 800 hours of training in Perth, Melbourne & Rishikesh, India, Colette is delighted to share yoga & meditation with a diversity of students. Her passion for human health & movement has led her to her current studies in Myotherapy (Bachelor of Health Science). Colette teaches Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Meditation and Myofascial release across Perth, and also works with at risk groups in health education.

As a teacher, Colette creates mindful, evidence-based & embodied classes to help students reconnect within, release tension & improve mobility, with a focus on safe alignment and expression.
