Our intensive yoga teacher training is an engaged and holistic course, giving you full accreditation as a yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (200 hours).
The intensive training is delivered over 19 days in Perth, Australia. The immersive training will give you a theoretical and experiential knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, teaching and practice – all rooted in a range of contemplative practices, with an emphasis on yoga practices of Tibetan Buddhism, the most wide spread and closest form of hatha yoga practiced today.
Teaching a yoga class requires attention to the physical, mental and emotional balance of students. This training will give you the confidence to teach physical yoga practices and meditation techniques, from your own experiential learning, to a wide variety of people including those of different ages, belief systems, yoga experience, and levels of physical abilities.
We will study and practice a range of movement modalities from hatha to yin yoga grounded within emotional awareness and contemplative practices informed by modern scientific research. These approaches are synergistic – constructively working with our emotions creates less physical blockages whilst engaging in accessible movement practices provides a conducive platform to unwind the mind and emotions. A rare opportunity for valuable reflection and practice, to gain personal insights to bring to others as a yoga teacher.
This training will give you the confidence and experience to teach yoga to a wide variety of people including those of different ages, yoga experience, and levels of physical abilities. This training is suitable for those seeking to deepen their own practice and to share their passion for yoga with others.
I don’t know if I want to teach, can I attend the training?
Yes, and many people do! Our aim is not to turn out asana teachers but to guide people deeper into practice and understanding of yoga.
