With a class size limited to six, this gentle introductory course is especially for people with fibromyalgia, back pain, arthritis and other persistent pain conditions. It’s designed for you, if you find movement can make your symptoms worse, if normal yoga classes don’t work for you, or you want to find better ways of practicing yoga when you experience pain.
Rachael has been helping people with people with persistent pain since 2011. She will cover:
- Ways to move without making your pain worse
- How to adapt yoga postures to suit you
- Breathing, mindfulness and meditations to steady the mind and calm the nervous system
- The Yoga for Pain Essential Meditation which succinctly explains a well-trodden path for developing a fulfilling yoga practice when you’ve had persistent pain
