In this class its option to make use of the chair to support your practice.  Like the use of other props in yoga practice, using a chair as a prop will assist you in targeting and working areas that thought they could ‘hide away’ from being involved in the practice.

Props can also be a supportive tool for injured or restricted parts of the body. Celesta is very skilled at tailoring the class to meet the needs of whoever attends.

This class is suitable for all levels of practitioner, including those with injury and reduced mobility.

Hatha Yoga is a combination of asanas (postures) and pranayama (energy control using the breath) built on a foundation of ethics. This asana practice works towards increased flexibility, strength, balance and improved functioning of body systems. The class begins with yogic breathing practices, with the asana practice increasing in intensity to suit the level of the class and flows into deeper stretching as the body warms up. The class concludes with a relaxation/ meditation.
